Description

The Autonics TZ4M-14R​ is a high-performance Dual PID (or ON/OFF + PID selectable) Digital Temperature Controller​ from the TZN / TZ series, designed for precise heating/cooling control in plastic molding, food processing, ovens, and packaging machinery. It accepts a wide range of thermocouple (K, J, L, T, R, S, B, C, N) and RTD (Pt100 3-wire)​ inputs and provides a relay output (14R = Relay, 250V AC 3A)​ for SSR drive or direct contactor/solenoid valve control of the heating element. A second output (optional — on TZ4M often configurable as alarm or cooling control) enhances flexibility.
The large 4-digit 7-segment LED display shows PV (Process Value) and SV (Set Value) simultaneously. It features automatic tuning (AT)​ to determine optimal PID constants, digital filter for noise rejection, and multiple alarm modes (deviation / absolute value / sensor break).
