Description
The Autonics TZ4M-14R is a high-performance Dual PID (or ON/OFF + PID selectable) Digital Temperature Controller from the TZN / TZ series, designed for precise heating/cooling control in plastic molding, food processing, ovens, and packaging machinery. It accepts a wide range of thermocouple (K, J, L, T, R, S, B, C, N) and RTD (Pt100 3-wire) inputs and provides a relay output (14R = Relay, 250V AC 3A) for SSR drive or direct contactor/solenoid valve control of the heating element. A second output (optional — on TZ4M often configurable as alarm or cooling control) enhances flexibility.
The large 4-digit 7-segment LED display shows PV (Process Value) and SV (Set Value) simultaneously. It features automatic tuning (AT) to determine optimal PID constants, digital filter for noise rejection, and multiple alarm modes (deviation / absolute value / sensor break).
