Description
The Schneider Electric Modicon TM3 I/O modules expand the local or distributed I/O capacity of Modicon M221, M241, M251, M262, and M340 (via TM5 coupler) PLC/PAC systems. They snap onto the right side of the controller (local expansion) or onto a TM5 / TM3 bus coupler for remote I/O. Listed models include:
- TM3DQ16R → 16-point Digital Output, Relay (NO), 24V DC / 250V AC, 2A per point.
- TM3DI32K → 32-point Digital Input, 24V DC sink/source (positive/negative logic).
- TM3DQ32UK / TM3DQ32TK → 32-point Digital Output, Transistor (NPN/PNP — UK=source PNP; TK=sink NPN).
- TM3AI8 → 8-channel Analog Input (Voltage/Current/TC/RTD — universal per channel).

All TM3 modules share hot-swap capability (on supported CPUs), diagnostic LEDs per channel/group, and automatic detection by the SoMachine / EcoStruxure Machine Expert software.
