The Omron CJ2M-CPU11​ is an entry-level CPU Unit for the SYSMAC CJ2M Series PLC, designed for compact machine control where program size and cost are moderate, but the benefits of CJ2M architecture (fast execution, built-in USB programming port) are desired.
  • CJ2M-CPU11​ → Program capacity 10K steps (20KB), Data Memory 32K words, Basic instruction execution 0.04 µs (LD), Built-in USB Type B port (front — for CX-Programmer via standard USB A-B cable)​ — NO built-in serial port​ (unlike CPU31/32/33). If serial comms needed → add a serial communications unit (CJ1W-SCU21-V1 for RS-232C/RS-485).
  • Compatible with all CJ-series Base Units (CJ1W-PA202 / PA205)​ and CJ-series I/O modules (CJ1W-ID211, CJ1W-OD211, CJ1W-AD041 etc.)​ — same rack as CJ2M-CPU3x / CJ1M CPUs.

  1. No Built-in Serial on CPU11: Unlike CPU32 (has RS-232C) — CPU11 has ONLY USB. If you need to talk to an HMI via serial (Host Link / NT Link / Protocol Macro / Modbus RTU) → either add CJ1W-SCU21-V1 (RS-232C/RS-485 serial communications unit)​ in the rack, or step up to CJ2M-CPU13 (if available — 20K steps + RS-232C)​ or CJ2M-CPU32 (60K steps + RS-232C).
  2. CJ2M Only Fits CJ Backplane: Requires CJ-series power supply (CJ1W-PA202 100–240V AC or CJ1W-PA205 24V DC) — NOT compatible with C200Hα / CS1 / CQM1H racks. CJ-series I/O units (CJ1W-___) are shared with CJ1M.
