C500 I/O modules (analog, temp, high-func) and CS1/CJ1 special units (CT021 etc.) use this. If your C200Hα / CQM1 I/O has built-in screw terminals — you do NOT need this. If it’s an older C500 I/O or CS1W-CT021 counter — you DO need the CE40x connector OR the XW2B terminal-block converter. Soldering Required: CE401 requires soldering 40 wires (AWG 26–28 stranded, pre-tinned) into solder cups. Observe pin numbering (odd pins = one row A1–A20, even = B1–B20 typically — check module manualfor pin-function map: Input 00–15 = specific pins etc.). Use flux & avoid cold joints.
