Description
The Omron EE-SX771A is a high-reliability transmissive (slot-type) photomicrosensor from the EE-SX77 / EE-SX87 series, featuring a slim, pre-wired cable for easy integration into space-constrained equipment. It uses an infrared LED and phototransistor pair in a U-shaped housing to detect the passage of objects (e.g., paper, tabs, coded discs) passing through the 5 mm slot. With a built-in amplifier and NPN open-collector output, it is widely used for position sensing, counting, and home-position detection in office equipment, PCB handlers, and industrial machines.
