Description
The ifm AC2024, AC2055, AC2032, AC2035, AC2046 are AS-Interface (AS-i) AirBox modules / pneumatic valve terminals with integrated AS-i slave electronics. The “AirBox” concept combines a compact pneumatic manifold (typically for single/double-acting cylinders) with an AS-i 2.0 / 3.0 slave chip — eliminating separate valve drivers, I/O cards, and multi-conductor cables. A single yellow AS-i flat cable powers the module and carries up to 4 inputs + 4 outputs (or proportional/pulse-width variants) to/from the valve terminals. Models differ in number of solenoid outputs, pilot voltage (24V DC), and pneumatic port configuration.
