The IFM O6E series represents a robust line of through-beam (also known as opposed-mode) photoelectric sensors designed for reliable object detection in demanding industrial environments. This family includes both standard receivers (O6E) and high-performance variants (O6H) with extended sensing ranges and enhanced resistance to ambient light. As a key component of a safety light curtain or a standard detection pair, the receiver unit detects the interruption of a light beam emitted by a separate transmitter.
