Description

The Schneider Electric TeSys LRD series​ are bimetal thermal overload relays (OLR)​ designed for snap-on mounting to TeSys D (LC1D) contactors, providing motor overload, phase-loss, and prolonged overcurrent protection. Listed models — LRD08C (2.5–4A), LRD10C (4–6A), LRD12C (5.5–8A), LRD14C (7–10A), LRD32C (23–32A), LRD33C (30–38A / 38–50A depending sub-type), LRD53C (larger frame 50–65A for LC1D80…D170)​ — cover low to high current ranges for motors from ~1 kW up to ~30 kW (400V AC-3). Each unit features an adjustable dial, manual/auto reset, test button, trip flag, and 1NO+1NC auxiliary contacts.

  2. Set dial to Motor FLA​ — NOT contactor rating!
  3. Star-Delta starters need 2 OLRs: Main = FLA; Delta-run = FLA ÷ √3.
  4. “C” suffix = screw terminals on auxiliary circuit.
